Sooooo madrid was completely hands down my favorite trip so far! We saw everything from the huge park (jardines de buen retiro), plaza mayor, plaza sol, the prado museum, goyas paintings, LIVE FLAMENCO DANCING, a futbol game, some really cool spanish bars, method man and red man live in concert, an underground art exhibit, and el rastro (a huge flea market on sunday mornings). My friend sam who's studying in madrid all year and his friends definitely showed us a good time and took us to so many places we never would have gone on our own.

MADRID tomorrrrrrow!

Voy a Espana por el fin de semana! And i'm visiting my friend Sam who's studying there with my friends rachael, kate and jacob. We're getting in late wednesday night and leaving earrrrrly (6am) on monday morning to fly back to Italy. I'm so excited because i hear Madrid is beautiful, i can utilize my spanish again and i'm seeing my first concert in a foreign country! all and all it should be a good weekend and i can't wait! HALLOWEEN

It's been a long time since i had a hamburger so halloween started with a traditional american meal of hamburgers and fries at this cool little restaurant called "The Diner". Free mimosas at the beginning of our meal and barbecue sauce to dip our fries in? i think i'm in heaven.

The roomies and i went out for some drinks during happy hour at our favorite bar, mostodolce, and on the way home we ran into some girls how looked alittle lost. After giving them directions, we started talking and we found out that they were americans studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain for the semester but were visiting florence on fall break. So of course we invited them out to get gelato with us and then gave them alittle tour around the city. It was so nice to show them our "home" and they sure appreciated the insider tips :)
