im going to be MIA this weekend but expect an amazing post on monday because....IM GOING TO SWITZERLAND!!! can you tell im excited? i cant wait for the breathtaking views of the alps and como lake :)) i'll make sure to take alot of pictures and pick up some swiss chocolate!

lazy sunday

i spent the day drinking tea, takin naps in the sun, and slowly working on my homework. i know your accumstomed to seeing some amazing pictures with my posts but carl had a far more interesting day than me. This is a photo he took on his hike today, new zealands a dreamworld.

colds goin around

slowly but surely the common cold has made it around our apartment and has finally caught up to me. babette and lavinia had it the first week, emily and rachael the second and now it seems i've caught it and hopefully dont pass it on to kate! i had a stuffy nose and pounding head all day but i really enjoyed my sociology of the italian mafia class this morning and my expanding creativity class this afternoon. i didnt take any pictures today but i stumbled upon this amazing little toy store called dreoni giocattoli. actually, little is an understatement. from the outside it seems like a hole in the wall shop but its absolutely huge! It had everything from playdoh to legos and every kind of puzzle, ball or boardgame you could imagine. i had to pick up a few things for an art project but i could have looked around for hours.

FOOT UPDATE: on monday i went to the doctor and she prescribed me pills and a creme to help reduce the swelling. two days later my foot's almost back to normal size. success!

so i bought my first "maxi" dress. aka the opposite of the mini dress. i always thought i was too short to wear one, but i came across this one at a little hole in the wall shop called "por que no?" so thats what i said, why not? tried it on and it fit like a charm :)

Spent a lazy rainy day going to class, doing homework, and making some mean raviolis. Grom's, the best gelato i've had yet and its starting to get a little chilly around here. I better start looking at winter coats!
